I had the pleasure of doing hair and makeup for an awesome bridal party last week.. Can you guess from the title what the theme was? Yup! Star Wars and Batman themed. It may sound crazy, but it was SO PERFECT for this couple and their friends. From the first time I met Heather, I knew she was a fellow nerd and I loved that about her. She was funny, cute and, well, obsessed with Star Wars. She even has Star Wars themed tattoos as does her now hubby! I’m a huge fan of Star Wars myself but their level of fandom put me to shame and I LOVED it. I love when I get unique brides, I love when they have awesome personalities and cool wedding themes. While I was upstairs getting the girls ready at The Mill, I learned how to make a Boba Fett helmet, how to assemble a Stormtrooper suit and how to wield a lightsaber. She really did have a light saber, and not a cheap Dollar Tree one. I took a photo as evidence! From the welcome gifts, to the cake, to the ring bearer, this was all in all one of the coolest weddings I’ve seen.
