Yes, I know, I’m sure every single one of you are getting extremely annoyed about all the hints about the fun and exciting changes happing at the Glam Squad, but today, right now in this post I’m going to tell you about one of the most exciting changes that is happening. 

I started Lou Stevens Glam Squad almost 27 years ago, and for a long time it was just me doing weddings out of my living room with my makeup kits and my hair tools. And every time I say that or even write it, it is so unbelievable to me because I never expected to be where I am today with a team of over 20 stylists that go to weddings each weekend under my name. However, one thing that I’ve always been asked by brides, mothers, woman in the bridal party, and multiple people over the phone whether or not we do cuts, colors, or blow outs and for the longest time our answer was always no. Until now. 

That is right, we have finally finally finally, (after almost 27 years in the business) have started offering full salon services with Glammie Dana having her very own chair right as you enter the Glam Squad Studio. I had always said that I wasn’t going to open the Glam Squad to full service because we are an On-Location Hair and Makeup Team that specializes in weddings. But when Dana approached us about having a chair in our new studio, it was an idea Amanda and I had already been discussing and the pieces just all seemed to fall into place. Weddings will forever be my passion and the passion of the Glam Squad and most of what we do here, but now we do just a little more! 

Dana has been a part of the Glam Fam for about three years now and she is definitely an important part of the family! She is one of our most requested stylists and creates some of the most beautiful hair and makeup looks for our brides. And now not only does she have the title of Master Stylist, she is also our Cut and Color Specialist as well. 

Dana is taking appointments now and has had her first few clients come in this week already which has been an exciting event for all of us, so exciting that even us glammies are getting in on the fun! Kimmy decided it was time for a fresh summer look and now that we are offering salon services why would we go anywhere else? With the shampoo bowl in the back area, the studio is 100% a fully running salon, not only offering cut and color but waxing, lip and lashes services (a Glam Squad favorite of ours to do) and even appointments for special occasion hair and makeup!
