Amanda Perry is a licensed cosmetologist, specializing in on location hair styling and makeup artistry. With 10 years of experience, Amanda is now based in Richmond, VA as a Master Stylist and is the Director of Bridal Services with Lou Stevens Glam Squad.

Amanda grew up watching her Grandmother and her Aunt (Lou Stevens) make women beautiful and contribute to the best day of their lives, their wedding day. Encouraged by her husband, Amanda followed her true passion as a wedding hairstylist and make-up artist, by attending the AVEDA Institute of Cosmetology in Orlando, Florida. Amanda graduated as the valedictorian of her class and had the opportunity to work on the worlds largest on location photo shoot for Pageantry and Prom Time Magazines during that time.

After extensive hair and makeup training, Amanda freelanced throughout Florida with various established artists in the area, focusing primarily on weddings. She has been featured individually as well as with Lou Stevens Glam Squad in The Knot Magazine, Southern Weddings, Richmond Weddings, Richmond Bride, Virginia Living, as well as on several blogs including Borrowed and Blue, Lover.ly, The Lovely Find, and Every Last Detail.

The most recent excitement of Amanda’s was when she was flipping through the August / September 2014 issue of BRIDES Magazine, and saw that Lou Stevens Glam Squad had been named Top Bridal Salon in America!! It is something that she, and all the Glam Girls are very proud of!
