Occasionally, brides have trouble narrowing down their perfect wedding day look.  Do I want to go more glam?  Do I want my hair up?  Should I keep it down?  There are so many variables to consider when picking your bridal style.  In Amanda’s case,  she had not one but three trials before the big day.

Sometimes, you have to work through all the viable options to see what works best for you and there is nothing wrong with that!  She tried an all up style, but it just wasn’t for her.  In the end, Amanda was blown away by this side swept “up but down” hairdo which her stylist (also named Amanda) LOVED creating!

Amanda and her mom Debbie were some of the sweetest people to work with, and it turned out that Debbie and Amanda even go to the same hair dresser for thier haircuts!  Amanda really enjoyed spending the afternoon with these ladies jamming out to the Spice Girls pandora station.

Amanda was very calm and laid back throughout the whole getting ready process.  I asked Amanda what her favorite part of getting Amanda ready was and she said, “seeing her face light up when she saw her completed hair and makeup look just made me melt!  After 10 years of doing wedding day hair and makeup, every bride is still just as special and I will never get tired of seeing their reactions for the big reveal.  It’s one of my favorite parts of what we do.”

Amanda was the loveliest vision and had the most amazing, open back dress.  I’m sure Hayes and Fisk Photography were thrilled to photograph such a gorgeous bride at The Jefferson Hotel.
