We love going to The Mill at Fine Creek. We also love working with Katelyn James Photography. When we get the opportunity to do both, it makes for perfect wedding day photos, especially with a bride as gorgeous as Courtney.
Courtney opted for a side swept up-do with a beaded and jewel-encrusted headband. Malory intricatly weaved the curls to make this wonderful creation and Courtney was nothing short of ecstatic. At first, she was nervous sitting still in one of the three salon chairs The Mill at Fine Creek has to offer in their bridal suite.
This is always the part of the wedding day that “gets real.” When you have to stop what you are doing, get in the salon chair and get ready. No more mason jar creations, no more changing of the seating arrangements and no more last minute ribbon tying on the wedding favors. It is just you and your stylist and the stillness can get to a brides head.
The Glam Squad specializes in weddings and our stylists are trained to not only do pretty hair and makeup, but to make their bride feel comfortable and excited. Malory gave Courtney a hand held mirror to sneak peeks and reassure her during the whole makeover process. We listened to music and all her bridesmaids were surrounding her, making her feel at ease.
Once Courtney put the dress on, she was the epitome of a perfect bride. She was wonderful to work with and was so sweet and kind. Her mom was quite the character and definitely made me laugh more than once! Ashley was in charge of getting her ready and I must say she did an amazing job.
We are so grateful that Katelyn James Photography captured these images and we encourage you all to keep her, The Glam Squad and the Mill at Fine Creek all in mind when picking your wedding day Vendors! Happy Monday! 😀
