So, naturally, we are obsessed with makeup. We have realized that the ability to easily and quickly apply makeup doesn’t come easy to all gals. That is why we decided to share some step by step tutorials on our favorite looks and the tools/products used to make it happen!
This look is called: Sultry Summer Night
First things first. Primer! I used NYX Photo Ready all over primer. Works like a charm to fill in any large pores, lines, or wrinkles.
After that, I apply my concealer to contour my face. As you can see, I add a lighter shade in a triangular shape under each eye above the cheekbones, the chin, under cheekbones and top of my nose. I then apply a darker shade along my cheekbones, along the outside of my nose and forehead. I blend in the concealer.
After applying concealer, I then do my foundation. I use airbrush makeup. I use Dinair, it’s my favorite airbrush machine I’ve ever used! It’s pretty affordable as well! I use shade #35.
Next I apply blush. We have our own blush palettes!! For this look, I used the lightest shade, Rose. I apply it along my cheekbones.
Before I apply my eye shadow, I fill in and slightly line my brows with black shadow. You can purchase an eyebrow set for this purpose but I find eye shadow does the job well, especially with an angled brush. Then I apply eye shadow primer, by Urban Decay. For shadow, I applied Virgin all over my lids up to my brow bone. Then I applied Sin along my center lid. Finally I applied Gunmetal to my outer lid and blended into my crease for a slight smokey eye. For this I used the first and original Naked Palette.
After I apply eye shadow, I apply a thin line of liner along my lash line with an angled brush. I use NYX Gel Liner and Smudger in black to line my lids. Then I use a thicker angled brush to smudge the liner to give it a smoother look.
After liner, I apply mascara. I love Falsies by Maybelliene, it’s my favorite of all time! Finally, it’s time for some lip action! My favorite go to for the summer and any makeup look (especially since I get pretty dark) is a pale pink, almost nude. I first applied NYX Lip Primer in Nude, followed by a pale pink from our own lip color palette. Lastly I did a thin coat of NYX Matte Gloss in Tokyo!
Lastly, I brush some NYX Photo-finish Finishing Powder over my face and spray with NYX Matte Setting Spray!
(Here is indoor and outdoor lighting so you can see how it looks in any circumstance!)
This look is so perfect for night time in the summer! Super sexy and sultry but still fresh and fun! We hope this tutorial helps you to recreate this look for yourself! Rock it girl!
