Dana Keeton is a hair and makeup artist for Lou Stevens Glam Squad.  She has lived in Richmond her whole life.  She graduated from Glen Allen High School and then got her license in cosmetology from Empire Beauty School.  When Dana isn’t working with the Glam Squad, she works in a hair salon doing cuts and color.  Dana knew that she wanted to do hair and makeup when she was in high school when she and all her girlfriends would go out and get ready.  She was always the one to do her friends hair and makeup, which was and still is her favorite part about going out. Her favorite style to do on a bride is anything with braids and with lots of curls and texture.

Dana’s favorite part about doing hair and makeup for brides is just getting to know them and be there on their special day.  “The hours leading up to a girl’s wedding are intimate and special and I love that I get to be a part of that.  The best part is when everything comes together in the end- the hair, the makeup and then the dress.”
