Team Tuesday: Meet Amanda

Amanda is a familiar face here at Lou Stevens Glam Squad! Getting into the industry was easy because she was born into it. Her grandmother started doing hair and from there the gift passed down to her mom, her aunt her cousin and to her. It’s in their blood. Amanda loves helping brides be there most beautiful version of themselves on their big wedding day. She says it’s such a special time and she gets so excited every time she meets a new bride of mine and get to hear their story!

Amanda said she loves the Glam Squad because it’s ‘a real team’. All the girls are willing to help out when someone is down and that goes beyond just hairstyling and make up. Everyone really seems to have a genuine interest in each other’s lives in wanting to get to know them. She couldn’t imagine herself going back to a regular job where she would have to sit in front of a computer eight hours a day. This is the perfect job and anyone would be lucky to be a part of our glam family! We couldn’t imagine The Lou Stevens Glam Squad without you!

Thee bold makeup look is Amanda’s favorite! “I love the classic red lip and winged liner! It’s a lot harder to do than the soft pretty looks so it takes a little bit of skill but the end result is always so stunning!”
