Vendor Feature: Leap AV: Audio/Visual

November 2, 2015

We are very fortunate to work with some really fantastic vendors in The Shoppes at The Renaissance! We want to introduce to you Leap AV, an incredible business you MUST know about if you’re planning your wedding. They do everything from audio, to video, to lighting. And by lighting.. we mean INCREDIBLE lighting. We interviewed Tim from Leap and want to share some awesome information with our brides! Check it out!

What inspired you to join the wedding industry?
In the past, we specialized in corporate and entertainment audio visual. To be honest, the wedding industry was a bit intimidating at first. With weddings, there are no rehearsals and no do overs. A wedding is so much more than a conference or a concert. The wedding day is one that a couple and their guests will remember for the rest of their lives. With the significance of each wedding, we came to find we relished every set we did for our clients. We were no longer promoting products, entertainers, or brands – we were promoting LOVE! How can you not get behind that?!

What motivates you?
We love going above and beyond for our clients. Each wedding is not about the equipment list or how many cases of lights that have been ordered. Our goal is to make every single couple ecstatic when they walk in the door. We live for the “OMG!” moments.

What is your favorite part about working with brides on their wedding day?
When the bride arrives, we have typically been set up for hours. Our favorite part of the wedding day is the last dance. It all comes down to that final intimate moment: we all know how stressful it can be to plan a wedding from start to finish and it means so much to see all of the work pay off for our clients. The last song is a powerful moment to be part of and witness because of what it represents for the couple – the end of an amazing wedding day and the beginning of their marriage.

If there is one thing you could share with newly engaged brides, what would it be?
There are so many GREAT wedding vendors out there. Take the time to find the ones that you connect with and who are passionate about creating individualized and quality experiences for their clients. I have seen planners give rides to late groomsmen and photographers who stick around for an extra hour because the couple is so much fun to capture on film. If you do your homework and follow your heart, your wedding day will capture something truly unique – you!

Thanks, Tim! Check out their website here!
