Celebrating at Celebrations at the Reservoir

November 14, 2016

There are some venues that we travel to that always stick in your head. There are key aspects of each that stand out more than others and I think one thing that makes Celebrations at the Reservoir so unique is the excitement that you feel as you get closer to the turn off to the Manor House and even the excitement that you feel as you drive down the lane!

And that’s how I felt yesterday as I drove over the bridge across the water with the bright colors of fall surrounding me. It was a gorgeous day to meet brides and grooms getting married there with some of our other friendors!

If you haven’t been to Celebrations at the Reservoir then you are really missing out because words cannot describe how beautiful of a wedding venue it is. With nine different locations at the Reservoir to choose from, there is an area perfect for anyone’s wedding day. Between the Manor House, the Pool Pavilion, and the Eagle’s Perch Ceremony Site there is somewhere perfect for every couple to say the two words that bind them forever, “I do” And it’s beauty is only enhanced by the people who work there because anything you may need they will do there best to help you with!

At the event yesterday we set up our Glam Squad table under the tent next to the Manor House which was decorated with twinkling lights and beautiful chandeliers! And to make things even better we were surrounded by the gorgeous flower arrangements from Flowers make Scents and the musical stylings of Eric Cunningham (who kept me dancing the entire time through!)

Celebrations also offers its own catering and let me just say… that the spread they had out for the vendors and the bridal guests was to die for. With a decadent raspberry mouse filled vanilla cake, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, and brownies that were so delicious I could have cried all of us vendors couldn’t help but indulging in the treats just as much as the brides and grooms were! But I think my one of my favorite parts of the day yesterday was the hot apple cider that they had. And of course when they asked if I wanted it spiked…I couldn’t say no.

But while we were there I couldn’t help but reminisce on all of the weddings that we’ve been a part of at Celebrations at the Reservoir and all of the beautiful brides that we have had the pleasure of sharing their special day with. One that kept coming to mind was the beautiful and amazing Melissa. Her wedding was this past summer, and it was actually on my birthday! Melissa being the doll that she is bought me a birthday present to celebrate when it was her that we were all meant to celebrate that day. She was a bride that wanted to make sure that everyone else around her was doing ok before she checked on herself. And I think that perfectly describes what it is like to get married at Celebrations or to have any sort of event there because the people that work there will make sure your every need is met before they move onto anything else.

I always love being able to travel to Celebrations to see the beauty that the venue has to offer as well as the beauty of our brides and grooms as they tie the knot and set into their future lives together.

Thank you to the amazing Hayes and Fisk for capturing Melissa’s Wedding Day and sharing the photos with usĀ
