Just yesterday we got an email from the lovely Audrey Rose to view the photo gallery from our bride Amanda’s wedding (all of which are featured throughout this article because they are amazing) and I couldn’t be more obsessed. So  of course I did what I did best and did a little bit of creeping on her website and lets just say…the obsession grew even more! Audrey is a Virginia native who lives in Norfolk with her husband and adorable corgi pups, Henry and Charlotte! Her inspiration of wedding photography actually came from her own marriage.

Audrey and Branden are high school sweethearts and her passion and love for their marriage sparked her passion for capturing other couples love! Funnily enough however Audrey actually graduated with a degree in computer science.  But her job for that didn’t seem to fill her time up enough with Branden being in medical school. She said that photography had always been a hobby so the decision to take it one step further almost seemed like a no brainer!

She started off by just photographing her friends and family and along the way she became hooked. Something I can relate to completely because once you find your passion in life it’s extremely hard to stop. Funnily enough though weddings were never something that crossed Audrey’s radar but the requests started pouring in and after that first wedding she said that a fire was ignited in her and that’s where she knew she was meant to be.

Just in April of this year Audrey decided to leave her full time job as a software developer to start her full time career as wedding photographer and her business has taken off running ever since!

I can tell this is only the beginning for Audrey and I can’t wait until we get to work with her again!
