We decided to start featuring our girls so that you can meet them and love them as much as we do! Today is one of our newest girls, Lindsey. Lindsey is such a beautiful girl, inside and out.. there is just something about her that makes you want to hug her immediately upon meeting her. She has a natural talent for styling hair and we are beyond blessed to have her on our team. She has recently started working on brides and has done such an amazing job!
Lindsey is 23 and currently attends Empire Beauty School. She is graduating in a couple weeks and will be obtaining her cosmetology license! Go Lindsey!
Glam: Lindsey, tell our readers a little bit about why you decided to pursue a career in the beauty industry.
Lindsey: I always enjoyed doing hair growing up. As a little girl, I would always try to style my friends and families hair. When I was in high school, I decided that I would just go to college and get a degree. When I was a sophomore in College, I met someone that worked at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School and upon finding out my passion for beauty, encouraged me to graduate and attend cosmetology school myself.. So, that’s what I did!
Glam: What is your favorite part about doing bridal hair?
Lindsey: I love the classy, romantic styles incorporated with bridal styling. It’s not every day you get to do styles like that so it’s pretty amazing I got the opportunity to work in bridal. It’s such an honor to be a part of a bride’s big day, to see her smile, to see her cry, to witness her excitement and joy. I myself am married and remember how beautiful it was and how beautiful I felt. I want to make other brides feel like that.
Glam: Any encouraging words for all the soon to be brides reading this?
Lindsey: All I remember.. and all I can say.. don’t freak out! Don’t stress about the little things.. it’s so not worth the anxiety. Enjoy your big day.. enjoy all the hard work you put into the planning.. but don’t overanalyze or panic about little things!
Well said, Lindsey! Take a look below at some of Lindsey’s styles she’s done!
