To all of you who may not know, we have a set of sisters on our team!  Lou Stevens’ sister, Sandy, has been on the team for four years.  They both got into hairstyling because of their mother, the OG (original glammie).  They grew up their whole lives around hair and makeup as their mom was a certified cosmetologist.  Sandy’s first job with hair was at a Cut n’ Curl in Kenosha, WI.  This was not her cup of tea.  She is much happier doing weddings nowadays in Richmond because the styles are a lot more trendy and diverse.  Her favorite style to do is a low, curly side-bun with a braid.

Sandy loves working with Lou on the weekends and is also a full time nanny on the weekdays!  She loves kids and especially her grandson, Benjamin.  When she is not working (which is ALL the time) she likes to spend time with her family.  One of her recent favorites is playing Scrabble with Lou or listening to live music at Uptown Alley with Lou.  When you get these two ladies together, it is always a hoot.  Back in their hometown of Kenosha, WI, they were known as the “Spaulding Sisters,” and were (who am I kidding, still are!!) a rambunctious duo.
