Lou Day Tuesday: Lou’s Bride Brittany

October 25, 2016

Most brides that we work with have a preview. In these previews we go over what hairstyle the bride wants, what ideas they might have for their makeup and really we just get to know the bride! Basically it’s a trial run of what to expect for the wedding and Brittany was absolutely no different! However on the day of her wedding she decided to throw me a little curve ball but together we teamed up and hit it right out of the park! You all know how I live for the connection I make with my brides and Brittany reminded me of why I love what I do so much! We bonded so much during her preview that I just couldn’t wait for her wedding!

During her actual wedding day we had tons of twists and turns but luckily we had a lovely day and it was almost like I was in Brittany’s head when she decided she wanted to change her hair just a little bit! I’ve always prided myself in being a people person and understand what people want and meeting their needs and I think that skill not only helped me execute Brittany’s hair with success but also the Glam Squad’s creation as well!

For some reason I’m someone who seems to thrive under pressure and that’s exactly what I did! Brittany gave me a few adjectives to describe the new vision for her hair and after that her folded updo practically did itself! Brittany had very particular ideas for what she wanted on her wedding day and by putting our heads together we created this absolutely gorgeous hairdo that I couldn’t be more in love with!

With a beautiful day at Pippin Hill in Charlottesville, the day couldn’t have been any more perfect! The colors of the changing leaves and fall inspired the colors of the flowers in Brittany’s hair and her gown embodied the season change as well! With an elegant long sleeved dress Brittany radiated beauty and she gave her photographer Emily Scott, and childhood friend an even more beautiful ceremony and couple to photograph! Emily even said “that there is absolutely nothing better than seeing your childhood friend find her forever….except maybe getting to photograph it!”
