How to Mattify your Makeup

With the temperature getting hotter as we approach summer we want to look our best to beat the heat. We have a few helpful tips and tricks to help keep your makeup from melting while you’re soaking up the sun this season!

1. Pick a Good Primer – primer is designed to make your make up stay in place, so utilize it!

 2. Avoid Oil – Based Foundation and Makeup; the lighter the better!

3. Make Your Eyes Waterproof – you can use your regular formula you love and just apply a waterproof topcoat; it’s a win-win!

4. Set Everything with a Translucent Powder – people swear by Makeup For Ever’s HD Powder. It airbrushes your face so nothing moves.We also recommend blotting papers! Our last tip is to wear your hair up. Not only does wearing your hair up keep your hair from sticking to your neck, but it also stops oils and sweat from being near your face. You will feel cooler and can try some chic updos for the summer!
