Many of you know that the Glam Squad specializes in on-location hair and makeup wedding services, but what some of you don’t know is that we offer weddings services in studio as well. And with our new space, we are so obsessed with being in the studio that we never want to leave! Which is why I wanted to give all you brides to be, and people interested in hosting events in this space a little bit of a virtual tour! 

During a small get together that we had in the studio last month, the lovely Amber Kay, of Amber Kay Photography was kind enough to take photos of the space and we are just obsessed with them! 

The studio features a salon area, where our cut and color specialist conducts her appointments as soon as you walk in, as well as a coffee bar. I am such a coffee lover that I had to have this feature in our new studio space. We have specialized mugs for the bride and bridesmaids, and even a specialized mug for the mother of the bride (I know how important it is for mom to be able to stay calm and caffeinated on the big day too! You are seeing your baby walk towards the rest of her life!) 

In that same entry area there is also a lovely display area that showcases some of our favorite brands and products, including my good friend Monte’s hair care products, and products from MacsSmack too! We also showcase the airbrush machines that you get when you take our Airbrush Workshop course.

Moving on from there, the studio has a front that faces Broad Street, room with three stations set up to help pamper and perfect the bride and bridal party on the special day. This is also the area where we carry out our preview sessions for their bride for the big day.

During the preview, our Glammies and the bride meet for the first time to discuss the hairstyle and makeup look that is wanted for the wedding day and they practice the style so there are no surprises on the actual wedding day. To us, the relationship that we have with our brides is so very important, which is why brides are in contact with their wedding day hair and makeup stylist from the day of the preview all the way up to the wedding.

Also facing Broad Street is another room that holds our specialized Bridal station. It is decorated with a gorgeous light pink wedding dress from Tiffany’s Bridal as well as an assortment of veils for brides to try on and even purchase for the wedding day.

The studio also has a dressing room for the bride and bridesmaids to slip into their gorgeous gowns for the ceremony

But my favorite part of the studio might just be the photo booth because of all of the fun memories that are captured there. I love being able to bring my friendors, glammies, and whoever comes into the studio into the photo room to commemorate the evening with a quick photo, because a picture is worth a thousand words right? This new space is ideal for an in-studio wedding and the plethora of pink and white definitely makes it the perfect place for a bride to be and her bridal party!
