Wedding Wednesday: Lindsey

July 27, 2017

Happy Wedding Wednesday lovelies! After a long weekend full of weddings and love, all of us here at The Glam Squad are excited for the little bit of calm that this week has to offer. Although the weekdays are full of Bridal Previews for soon to be brides, meetings, and talk of the exciting plans for the future, we can’t help but dwell on the celebration of love we were lucky enough to be a part of over the weekend!

One of the many weddings we had was held at The Golf Club at the Highlands. Glammies Jane and Janelle traveled to the Golf Club to help Lindsey and her bridal party get ready to walk down the aisle. The heat of the summer day made most of the women opt for an updo to keep their hair off of their neck and handle the humidity as good as possible. Those styles, along with the light application that airbrush foundation has to offer, helped the women beat the sweltering 99 degree temperatures.

Ever since I started using airbrush makeup and the glammies learned the technique behind airbrush makeup, hardly any bride chooses to have traditional makeup application these days.  It’s great for last ability, looking flawless, and comfort on your skin.  It looks and feels so natural you hardly know you’re wearing anything at all.  Its build-able coverage is great for the most natural to the most glam of ladies!

The airbrush makeup allows for a lightweight, yet full coverage, and one that you won’t have to worry about sweating off your  during the day, and the nights festivities. At Lou Stevens Glam Squad, each one of our glammies is airbrush certified. This is a makeup process that is sweat proof, tear proof, and helps to make you look even more flawless in your wedding day photos. Glammie Jane, assured Lindsey of that as she swiped the airbrush across her face with ease only a pro like Jane could do. With the threat of sweat and happy tears looming over the day, the girls were thankful for the assurance that no matter what the day brought, their makeup would remain perfect.

The best part of the getting ready process however had to be (and I’m sure you can all guess what I’m going to say), listening to Lindsey describe the journey that her and her fiance had taken to get to this day. The two met in high school but didn’t start dating until college. After being on and off again for a while the two ended up calling it quits, however Lindsey’s fiance wasn’t ready to let her go just quite yet. Although Lindsey wasn’t sure she wanted something serious, he won her over with how dedicated he was to her. After proposing to Lindsey on Christmas Day the two decided that July was the perfect time to profess their love to one another with their family, two children, and friends all around them.
